The AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photography) QLD State Awards was held in April this year. I still feel excited about it. This year I entered 8 images into 2 of my favourite categories: Portrait and Illustrative.  I was hoping to get pass the awards line in the portrait category for this year. Last year I was trilled to win the Illustrative category and Portrait has always been my goal.

I am very proud and honoured to be named the 2017 AIPP Queensland Epson Professional Portrait Photographer of the Year! I am thrilled to be named a finalist with such an amazing Artis and true legend Peter Rossi and the awesome Marija Sullavan!

It is such an absolute honour to be standing in a group of great artists and masters of industry in the awards night. Thank you to Kayell Australia for sponsoring the Portrait category this year! Huge thanks to Epson, AIPP, Queensland Council, all the judges, and all volunteers for their great work to make this happen. And finally to my love Afshin for supporting me all the way to here!
